Eat Street Food Helsinki

 

 

  

Hi Sunny day!

Don't you just feel warm on your face and my heart start to beat fast and faster like it will jump out

from your chest........ when you see food?

I absolutely love street food! Living in Thailand street food is common and very cheap.

It's the easiest way to find food.

But in Finland it's hard to find, when Robin and I get hungry all we can think about is McDonald's.

Robin told me last week about Eat Strret Food Helsinki. There's no way I can say no!

We were with Robin's stepfather yesterday in Eat Street Food Helsinki.

I can see smaile on Robin's face as always. I expected some good Roti, but it was not even good and

we waited so long. We tasted Bangkok street food as first. We ate Khai Ping ( Grilled Eggs )

and Robin's stepfather ate baby shrimps.

Sursprisingly... I love Deeep fried luisiana onion is taste good with snakebite dip.

Which reminds me of Thai deep fried bread with minced pork. It's so delicious!

Don't let me say much. I don't want to see my tears drop and start to be homesick again.

Well, I had enough food, even my tongue noticed it was already greasy.

It was another good day for us. Food is the most important for us.

And I also did my homework, I felt so shy to speak Finnish out loud but it went great.

Ahtari Zoo

After we left Tuuri on Sunday, we stopped by at the Ahtari zoo.

Lucky Sunday wasn't cold like I imaged.

My mind was empty and had no ideas why my boyfriend wanted to show me the zoo.

Maybe, he sees me as a child or It's a place that I am used to visit. :D

Surprisingly, I was excited! The animals are so cute.  

We saw some animals ran an hid when I tried to catch them on camera.

Seeing them made my heart warm and calm but the moment like this never lasts forever.

Welcome To Tuuri

Hello!

How are you? I'm so tired as always.

I shouldn't be sitting and blogging at all cause I have Finnish Test tomorrow.....

On Saturday we went to Tuuri and stayed in Onnen Tahti hotel for a night.

I love their unicorn logo. It's so cute. :D

It isn't a bad idea for being away from home but having more time, it would be much better.

I see the time flies, I must go and read. I'll write more tomorrow.

Capital Of H : Helsinki

This stressful week is over! Now I can enjoy Christmas vocation. When do I have it?

Just enjoy this month. I felt so disappointed with everything I've tried so hard this year.

I just failed it all. This year isn't my year but next year will be my lucky year! 

I'll try again.

( Actually, I checked my horoscope. It seems to be a good year for me. ) ;)  

I mean I hope so.......

I woke up 5 a.m. and had quickly breakfast, put some makeup on and walked 

to railway station. I met up Jenni right away and walked to Forum.

I bought some Christmas presents. We also visited a Victoria's Secret shop. 

I'll be leaving Kouvola on Friday, back to Åland. There's a VS shop in the Viking Grace ferry too. :)

I will spend some money there. 

Then we went to Thai Embassy for getting my new passport. Jenni was very excited and took photos around the building . :) 

I knew I'll have a problem with scanning my fingers cause my hands always sweat.

I haven't have Botox for a year! But the lady,who works there, she was so nice and understood.

She said : It's okay. Just take it easy. Everything will be fine. 

Jenni said it took so long to waiting for me there. Last summer I went to Thailand, I was stuck in passport control. It didn't scan my finger, It won't me let in to my home land! 

I did more than 4 times before I could get in.

 I always wanted to take photo in beautiful city of Helsinki but always forget it.

The biggest reason is must be Thai food. We can barely walk after having lunch.

Jenni wished to have lunch in Thai restaurant in Forum.  

I'm so glad I have good friends that enjoy Asian food. Cause I enjoy Thai food more than burgers.

I was more interested in salad menu, mango spicy salad is the best but who could help me eat? 

Jenni is not good eating spicy food but she was fine this time. 

We had Mee kati and Tom yam goong. I miss my mom's cooking!

Robin threw his head on a pillow so I must say good night. <3
